I am a Train Driver, and I have had a few incidences over the years of 'surfers' as well as idiots playing on the lines and suicides.
Thankfully, I haven't killed anyone yet but to be honest, it's just a matter of time.
If an idiot who's surfing gets fried then it is their own fault.
Having said that, it is a tragic accident because children are not taught the dangers of the Railway.
Even us Crew and Track-workers can have accidents and sometimes die.
The worst incident I had was 3 youths standing on the roof of my train which was going 90mph.
When I had stopped and found them, they decided to jump from the roof to make their getaway.
2 made it no problem, but the 3rd slipped onto the live rail and cooked.
I remember what it was like at that age, no fears. A feeling of immortality. Until someone gets injured or dies.
To ANYONE who is thinking of going near railway lines or 'playing' around trains, DON'T!
You don't realise the risks, a step wrong can kill you!
And it's us staff that have to deal with the consequences of watching people die in front of us.
Please! Be sensible around the Railway!

It is a little of both . A tragic accident for the families and an incredibly stupid act on part of the IDIOT who decides to do it. Those people would do more good if they put that much thought into doing something good !

I heard this call on my fire brigade scanner last night. Fire engines were sent to a report that the roof of the train was on fire. On route the engines were told that it was somebody on fire on the roof of the container train, and a passenger on Oxford Road Staion had seen a leg on fire.
This train must have travelled the couple of miles from the Trafford Park Freight terminal with this 26 year old on the roof. I am surprised he got as far as Oxford Road.
The people I feel sorry for are:-,
1. Those unfortunate passengers minding their own business waiting for a train and having to witness something so gory.
2. The rescue services mainly the firemen, who were pictured on TVAM this morning climbing on the room of the train to remove the body.
3. The family of the deceased, quite an avoidable accident.
There were a number of youths killed in this war around the Ford Factory in Halewood, when they climbed on the train to steal radios from the newly built cars, maybe thats what happened here, who knows.

an expected ending to an incredibly stupid act.
You said it all already, its kinda like those "stunt" (stupid more like) drivers who get thereselves hurt or killed jumping off a cliff in an austin maxi with a straight jacket on, so that if they do survive they become the centre of attention for a small moment in there otherwise mundane life!!

Do you've info of all funds made for her employ and wages? if so, get the files and undergo the peace of mind employer. you nevertheless owe for her injuries, yet probable with your earlier funds, ought to diminish the quantity you'll owe. On any harm declare, you do not owe for someones employ, yet you would owe for wages. My wager is that you idea (stupidly) that by paying wages and her employ, that it would absolve you of your duty on her harm, it really is would not. for someone to have surgical treatment by using an coincidence, isn't a minor coincidence. money would were tight, notwithstanding it is going to get a lot tighter now, because you'll favor to maximum likely get a cost plan set up to pay decrease back pondering your negligence in this coincidence.

The only tragedy is for the person who finds them... nobody should see something like that. Idiots who play with fire should think of the concequences first.
