There's so much good book advise about Leo's I was loathe to add more, so i thought I'd reply from a Leo's perspective. A leo woman is very diffrent from a Leo male. I'm addressing the traits of us girls here.
We're cheery, vibrant, and firey. We're tempermental, selfish, and posessive. We love fiercly our friends and family. We're loyal to a fault, and expect the same of others. We love to give gifts, as much as we love to receive them. We're attracted to Aquarius, because they are our polar opposite. Be carefull of them, though it can turn sour. Be carefull also of the other fire signs, you can make wonderfull friends or terrible enemies. Despite what the books say, water signs are our friends, after all opposites attract. Scorpios and Leos can be volitile, because we're very much alike, but they hold a grudge like nobody's buisness. They make great friends though. So in sum for compatability- Air signs are a good bet. Any of them suit the leo temperment well.

personally as a fellow leo, we're born leaders, able to make our stand on our decisions, spontanous, honest and simply wants everything to be the best be it for ourselves or for our loved ones..we tend to be domineering, have a fiery temper and are just too trusting with one another (even if we do not admit it) which will lead from one disappointment to another..
i aren't too sure abt compatibility signs of leos but one thing's for sure, i am attracted to taurus..or another leo..
i am currently on a long term relationship with a taurus and it is still going on strong..
my advice: when you want to find your true love, do not base it on star signs..base it on your true feelings for each other, the mutual understanding you have between the two of you..
