I was getting over the same thing from this weekend and the best things to start off with were Ginger Ale, orange juice, toast with very little butter if any and soup. I lived on this for days as it was all my stomach was allowing me to digest. Yesterday I managed a bagel with peanut butter and then later in the day I had some mac and cheese. This morning I managed coffee for the first time in a week. Bland foods are best to start off with when you can eat them then you can move forward with other foods.

I hope you feel better soon!

I've read about this before when my little one was sick and Dr. say's,if a person is hungry and wants pizza, then feed them pizza, that usually the body isnt going to crave something that it wont keep down. If your hungry, then eat what you want.It also said that warm coke is best for settling stomach. My little boy got sick yesterday at school, the flu must be all over the place. hope you get to feeling better

Take a zinc supplement and eat foods high in beta carotene. They help maintain your immune system. Also get enough vitamin C and B-complex vitamins. Make the bulk of your diet whole foods like fruit and vegetables. Processed foods, fat and sugar tend to run you immune system down.
