Blink 182 split because each band member wanted to spend time with their families.
This is the real reason, ignore these fools Blink were great!
All members have various side projects which are promoted on the Blink 182 website

because tom decided to be a jerk. and i went through over a year of hating him before i realized blink 182 was going to break up one day anyway

They went on a hiatus. 2005 to whenever they get off. During the hiatus Mark and Tom made a new band (+44)
