"Blood Beast" will be the fifth book in Darren Shan's The Demonata series and is to be released on 6th June 2007. It will be narrated by Grubbs Grady, the narrator of Lord Loss and Slawter. It will be a two part story, along with book six. The previous four books have not been in chronological order, but this book will be the furthest book into the future. It will deal with whether or not Grubbs Grady will be struck with lycanthropy and how he will deal with this problem.
The title was originally announced at the Edinburgh Book Festival, and Darren Shan read a small sequence about a demon attack on a plane, which featured Lord Loss.
Assuming it is released on June 2nd, it will be released on a Saturday. It is 182 days until it is released.

I used to keep up with his first Vampire series but stopped for some reason...I like his writing, he's very imaginative.
