Hi I have mercury motherboard, and P4 processor, 1.6 GHz, a 4X AGP card, and 256 MB RAM, how would I know if the RAM is DDR or SD RAM, and how would I know the maximun RAM it can support, I dont have the booklet of the motherboard.

Try looking it up on yahoo, it should say on a site out there. I tried looking and you did not specify which kind of mobo it is but I found one with a max of 512MB.

*IF* this is a company built computer, you can go to the 1st link and entere your make & Model of computer to find out the RAM it uses.

*IF* it's custom built, you'll need your exact motherboard model #, then go to maker's website to find out what RAM (and the MAX amount supported)

by discription it looks like DDR RAM, you can go up to 512 MB RAM
