It starts with very well done photos of yourself done by someone that has style--- you don't have to go the nude route as suggested earlier here-- but you will need to have five or six in swimsuit (makes no difference -- one or two piece)
Don't "swamp" them with shots---do a mess of them and edit hard for the ten or twelve that you send in---- send them in care of the "creative director" -- they are usually Very good about responses --- don't get too anxious though because they get tons of submissions each year and they only choose very very few of them to investigate for a future with them --- should they decide to give you a shot---they will arrange for you to come to them for a "test shooting" with one of their staff photographers and then you'll have to wait for decisions at THAT level ---- there you are--- a guide to the outline map to the mansion !!!
Good Luck to You-- and if you succeed -- once you get eye to eye with Hef---tell him that I didn't get my invite to the Oscar's "thing" and that I'm a little miffed !!!!!!

Go to college, get a great job and forget the playboy bunny stuff. This way you'll be able to earn big $$ long after your body has sagged beyond repair.

I think its easy enough to do. Probably you just send in your photos.
Still, you might want to consider whether the fact you can implies that's really what you want to do. The money is there in the short term but sometimes there are consequences. Lots of people don't have open minds about that kind of thing and well, you may get bored of it after a while and want to do other things.
I'm sure at first the attention is nice. After a while i bet it gets old.

Hire a professional photographer to take some tasteful nude shots of yourself and send them to the magazine.
