premier club bwfc have just tried through the courts to stop local pubs showing live matches via a foreign channell which the publicans pay for. (not sky). and lost by the way.

Could anyone enligten me as to how the foreign supplier gets the live match via bwfc. If bwfc didnt want this to be broadcast why not stop the people from operating and broadcasting from the ground. anyone know why they dont just do that?! cheers. tom.

It is quite easy to receive foreign TV programmes in the UK via an analogue satellite dish and decoder. These can now be picked up easily and very cheaply on many sales sites, classified ads and even car boot sales. The range of programmes available is vast and free with no card required, but being foreign are broadcast in other languages. However Eurosport, in my opinion the best sports channel ever, broadcast this way and in English. Keep your eyes open for one you won't be disappointed.
