can someone help me on how to change my operating system in my laptop.is it different in changing your OS in your desktop?

well, that means that u have to backup your data and after that reformat your laptop...as far as i know, there is no difference. if your CD-writer or DVD - writer or whatever u have is not the primary boot u should enter the bios and put it in that position after that beginning the installationyou should follow the advices within the OS CD`s/manual
one more tip : don`t choose fast format or whatever sounds like that cause it will cause you trouble within time
anyway, ensure your data first
and be sure that u have all the programs and applications that u need to make your laptop work as u wish

its exactly the same as formatting a desktop computer, but you should make sure not to put important files in your c: drive (or whatever drive you installed windows in the first place), just move them to a different drive, and format c.

Its not different at all. If you've done it on your desktop, you probably know how to do it.
