Will she understand and stay the night with me?

If you are worried, tell her you are presently between residences and do not have a permanent residence to take her home too. Plus, you don't want to take her to an impermanent residence for fear that it would make her think that you think of her as impermanent. (whether you do or not is inconsequential, it is what you want her to feel that is important.)

She will most likely not want to stay the night in a cardboard box, as most women want to feel safe and it is difficult to feel safe in a box, depending on the location. However, a good friend of mine lived in a "tent in the woods" and would occasionally ask a girl to go "camping with him" worked for him just fine.

Why do you live in a cardboard box? How can you afford computer access? What kind of things do you and her do?

i once lived in a cardboard box to save money. and wore newspapers as clothes and a dead cat as a couch, until the people at the goodwill church showed me i could have more.
i now live in a garbage bin and have a dead dog as a couch.

your girlfriend will accept you as long as she knows you are trying to better yourself, like i did.
