"There is a time for work, and a time for play."

Make sure you make time every day to play. It rejuvenates the mind and body, and re-invigorates the soul.

Take it from one who spent too much on the former, and too little on the latter, and now regrets the choice.

[I am unsure of the author of the quotation. I thought it was Machiavelli, but can't find it.]

I don't remember the name, but a famous Jewish Rabii once commented that he never heard anyone on their deathbed say they wished they spent more time working than with family and friends.

You said:
"Make sure you make time every day to play. It rejuvenates the mind and body, and re-invigorates the soul."

but for many here, it should be more like:

"Make sure you make time every day to actually get some work done. It makes you feel better at the end of the day when you've actually accomplished something useful"

No! Why can't work be fun??
People should work to live, not live to work.. most take their jobs way too seriously. Don't get me wrong a lot of people don't take it seriously enough, but I think it's fine to 'mix business with pleasure'.

Yes, I agree with those statement, except for regrets.
