I am interested in good places to shop.
When does the shops close? I will have to work every day until 4 pm.
Is anything open on sundays? What will be fun to do on a sunday in Berlin?
Is it easy to get around in Berlin?

Almost all shops are closed on Sundays and holidays. You might find a conveinience store open inside a train station but that is it. One exception is that restaraunts are open very late 7 days a week in Berlin. Many are open until 1or 2am every night. Monday thru Thursday most stores are open from 8am-8pm. A few stores and malls are now open 8am-10pm on Friday and Saturday. There is not a lot going on Sunday in Berlin. It is a nice day to relax, go hiking, have a picnic, go to the movies etc.
It is very easy to get around in Berlin. You can buy a week train pass for about 25 euro. This will be good on all trains, subways, busses, and trams within the city. The trains are very punctual and connections are easy.

Good places to shop are on Kurfurstendam st., in Ka De We department store, in KaufHaus at the Alexanderplatz train station. Honestly though Berlin is not a great city for shopping. You will not find lots of designer stores here. This is not Paris or Milan. This city is not about shopping, it is about enjoying life, nature, and history. Have fun!

Well, the opening hours in Berlin is now 24 hours a day (it's new!), but still closed on natl. holidays and on Sundays.

Yes, it's quite easy to get around in Berlin - the Berlin transportation system is excellent (bus, subway, etc). You might have no problems with that.

Otherwise, I advice you to visit some tourist websites on Berlin!
