Does anyone remember spyro? WELLLL, i just found it and want to play it on my ps2, but i cant save it on my ps2 memory card..? also when i put in my PS1 memory card sometimes it says that there is no room on it, but soemtimes it let me make a save block in the beginning and then when i try to save during the game, it says i have to make another one, but when i try to it says 'save error' after i click 'file 1'

start the ps2 with no games in it, just the ps1 save card in slot 1. you need it in slot one to save in some games, but other ps games will save to slot two.
a screen will come up that has a picture of the memory card. (you can leave a game in, but it's just easier this way, otherwise you'll have to go to browser, which only appears for a moment)
make sure the card on the screen is highlighted, and push X (to select)
it will show you all the saves you currently have on the card. and your problem sounds like it's full. so pick one of the saves, or more than one, and select it. you can delete it this way.
now, restart, and put the game in, and see if that works
if you don't want to delete saves that you currently have, get a new ps1 save card. ps2 memory cards CAN save ps1 data, but you can't load that data, so it's only useful for transferring things that can't fit on the ps1 card anymore

I may be corrupt. Try Turning on the system with only the card in and try to delete the the saves in the ps1 memory card. Then try again. Also, make sure the vents are clear of dust. FOr sure the ps2 memory card won't work with the ps1 game.

Well, saved game files of PS1 games could not be saved in PS2 memory cards. When we use our PS2 to play PS1 games (and save using PS1 memory card), it works just fine. Maybe there's something wrong with your memory card. By the way, I remember Spyro. It's one of the good games I've played... hehehe

Maybe if you put the memory card into the second slot and delete some files that arent' needed..there might be something wrong with your memory card becuase I heard that they go bad after a while. Hope that helped!! But I love Spyro too!! <3

Sounds like your memory card is full. Before playing you should delete 2 save spaces from the ps1 memory card. (2 game saves you don't need anymore)
If you don't want to delete your save games, you shouldget another memory card
