NO, If the answer sucks, why give a thumbs up?bs up? When someone ask a question I would think and believe that this person WANTS an informative answer. YET, some of the answers to some of the questions go beyond an opinion, they are outright WRONG and or insulting. So why would I or you want to give them a thumbs up?

Me too... only once did I hesitate... it was a really mean answer... but when I went back in, the person had about 15 thumbs down... so I felt bad and since then everybody gets a thumbs up...
Sometimes though I wait until I pick best answer... if it helps me sort them out... afterwards I go back and thumb 'em up.
