Ozzie Guillen has only gotten away with his antics because he won a world series. The fact is I could have won the world series as manager with the team he had in 2005. Unless he has the same success as, let's say a Joe Torre, (4 WS wins) than people will get tired of him pretty quick. I personally was tired of him in 2005. Dusty is a good baseball man. With him as manager at least the focus would be back on the players again. I still think the Tigers are the team to beat in the division but if I were you, I'd keep one eye on the Indians and the other on the White Sox.

If Ozzie keeps saying stupid things and the team stops winning games, yeah, I could see them firing Ozzie - but not replacing him with Dusty Baker! I think Chicago has seen enough of the Dusty for now.

Why would they want to do that. Ozzie Guillen is a good manager and at times players have said that Dusty Baker hasn't had them motivated to play hard.

I don't think they will. Ozzie Guillen managed the White Sox to a World Series Championship.

Ozzie -
He has never had a losing season, and won the World Series in his second year as manager.
Dusty -
Chews on toothpicks. Has now been run out of two cities.
You know - throw in Dusty's kid and it sounds like a deal to me

I dont think so dude, Dusty already showed what he couldnt do on the other side of town.
And yes, I know your Tigers beat my Mets 5-4, but its only the first spring game!

All Ozzie does now is rave about the Twins and our piranha's they might as well replace him. Dusty could complete his mission and destroy ALL of Chicago.

nahh i don't think they will..Personally, I don't like Dusty Baker..I like Guillen over him..Guillen is a huge attraction for the Sox and they may wanna keep him around..He brings life to the team..However, he can be a huge idiot at times and thats where I can see the Sox possibly exploring this a little further..we shall wait and see..
