It totally depends on the weight of each sweet. 1 litre capacity can hold upto 1kg of sweets.
If one sweet is 5g, they the jar can hold 1000/5 = 200 sweets,
If one sweet is 10g, they the jar can hold 1000/10 = 100 sweets, and so on.

Hi Gemma.
You have to first know the weight of the jar as jars of different types of material (glass, plastic...) have got different weights.
You also have to know the weight of 1 sweet as they come in all sizes and contain all kinds of fillings.
