I do not think Russia or Chinia has any fear of Mongolia. The only reason for concern would be if either one of these countries laid claim to Mongolia. But presently Mongolia provides for a small barrier between the two.

Why would they be? Mongolia is a modernizing democratic state that's filled mostly with goat and sheep herders. A co-worker of mine lives and works in Mongolia half of the year. Russia DID fear them up until the mid 1400's when the Golden Horde was overthrown. As for China, they built a series of walls to keep them out. Anymore, though, nobody is afraid of Mongolia.

I don't believe .. I know....
Mongolia as a country has no threat for Russia and China .. and it-s only a buffer zone between those 2 giants.
