The building was expected to fall. In mid afternoon people saw WTC7 contorting out of shape, forming bulge on its side. They evacuated the building and basically waited all day for it to fall. Firefighers were not allowed back in because of creaking and other odd noises building started make. They knew it will fall because of obvious visual damage and audible creaks. And I expect reporters were waiting for its collapse.

It's likely the BBC reporter jumped the gun due to activities around WTC7, people running away, evacuating...etc (there were lot going on on 9/11, massive chaos, and its easy to get misinfo) and when the producers realized the obvious mistake they pulled the report as with any live coverage that makes false reports (I've seen few others like this where confused reporter continues to make wrong comments and they cut to different reporter who knows what is going on).

There have been anticipation of collapse, but it is myth there was a countdown to 'explosion.'

Alex Jones flatly ignore and do not discuss 10 story gash that was photographed. Initial reports by NIST sited fires which Alex Jones keep pointing at and say fires can't do this. But NIST released more detail finding about that 10 story gash and other structural damage. But conviently Alex Jones can dismiss photos and real facts as fabricated gov cover up.

When you can just pick which info are real and which are gov fabrication you can make any claims. UFO, Aliens whatever...
