I would recommend if you want to start waxing to go to a professional waxer, by that I mean a waxer where there is no other business taking place other than waxing (eg, not at a hairdressers) adn one that is recommended to you by someone. Also, I should warn you that the first time can be very painful and I had swelling and bleeding under my arms the first time-BUT the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages! I would also suggest that you could buy a hair removal product like an epilator (which pulls the hairs out by the roots) and this can be used on your underarms, bikini line and legs! And would be cheaper than going back and forth to the waxer! Good luck and I hope the hair removal goes well :-)

Just let your hair grow out about 1/4 to1/2 of an inch and get really good wax. I have done it for years and personally don't think it hurts but I don't have sensitive underarms. It feels so much nicer and your hair will grow in much thinner

May I suggest a hair removal product such as Nair? I've been using it since my teens (I'm in my 40's now). It's easy to use, requires only a few minutes of waiting, and best of all, is pain free. I don't understand why you young ladies put yourselves through the agony of waxing when a painless alternative exists.
