yes....the wind has moved itself into a smoothe breeze, and although there is still a good two feet of snow on the ground, the trees are budding, the sun languishes like ribbons of sunlight.....in the afternoon, daylight is upon us more in the am....and it has been one cold winter of hunkering down, getting supplies, and now we have a reprieve.....I slept with my window open last night, and although cold....it is the FIRST night that I slept clear through in ages.....spring is here, it will be lush foliage quite soon, the grass never even went totally into its straw like variable....i must say that for as much as I love winter ever "I" am looking forward to the warmer weather. i see signs of it other places too......and the people of the city who have been beaten into their houses from the torrential rains and snows are actually kind.....generally i don't like what warmer weather does to people....nature has a way of commanding...and now that the message is across, Spring is showing its raiments bit by bit.....i too await the golden days ahead quite soon....thanks..What a lovely question!!!

Yes, I have seen Robins several times over the past few weeks. This is a sure sign of Spring. Another sign of Spring, is I as well as other bikers have been out several times on our scoots.

The daffodils are up, the tulips are trying and the grass shows a bit of green. I have seen some wee ones playing in the trees here, squirrels.
