Do you have a water meter? If so then it's high and you may have a leak on the property. If not, then it's by the rateable value of the house, not the usage or number of people in it and you wouldn't have much comeback. Check what the neighbours pay to gauge that.

That sounds extremely high if you have a meter than have it checked and check for leaks.
If you don't have a meter ring them and tell them you are away from home a lot so you hardly use the water for the washing machine or baths etc and ask for a bill based on these circumstances. You might have had someone living in the place before who had two small children etc and the bills have been based on that.

Yes this is high. You need to check if this was an estimate or a reading from your meter/box. It will tell you this on the bill. If it is an estimate get a reading and call he company and ask for a new bill.
If they are adamant that it is right you have a right to ask for details of water leaks in your area- a colleague of mine was asked to pay £500 bill and it turned out there was a leak in the pipes and they had not sorted this so water was leaking from pipes and she was paying for it. She was told this is more common than we think.
good luck

Thats very High. Id ring up the water company saying its high. Look for a water Leak. Usually if you ring up any major company and complain about the price then threaten to go to a rival all of a sudden the price comes down.
Good Luck

not sure since I'm across the pond. But if you have a leak that could keep your water bill high. Make sure you have no leaks.

we are two adults with moderate water usage - our bill for the last six months was £115. Thames water had been overcharging us for two years (although they noticed this error and informed us) so it might be worth double checking this charge with your water company to ensure they are not overcharging you

thats very high because in our country (Philippines) our water bill is only 1500 pesos maximum minimum 875pesos, my family consist of 6 members. you'll just going to find if it is too high if you convert our peso into your money.
