Spending time with my daughter is the best gift I could get. Take her out to dinner or go to a movie together. If you are short on cash, then do some chore around the house that would normally be something she would do. Make dinner and do the dishes to give her a night off. Things like that mean the most to me.

my daughter is 16 and says the same thing
im too hard to buy for
but i would like something personal ...something shes made
if you havent got alot of money then go to the beach and find some large stones and paint something personal on it
everyone get here mum a card and flowers ...
or try making her a card and find a poem that suits her
the personal touch is alwways best as it shows you made the effort
xx

Make her a card, tell her all the reasons you love her and why you think she is so good to you. Make her dinner and just spend the day together doing whatever you both enjoy, walking, watching a film, shopping anything you like. She is very lucky that you are thinking about her and wondering what to get.

How about the two of you go to a day spa and get a manicure/pedicure together? Mothers always want to spend quality time with their daughters.

when my son was little he rated how good the day was by how many cowries (shells) he found on the beach. One day he gave me 11. I still have them. last year he was walking on a very white beach and sent me some sand 3,500 kilometres. At Christmas he sent a tiny bone and brass treasure chest with tiny pieces of surf scrubbed coloured glass. He is twenty five today and phoned to say he is sending me a small seam of gold in quartz from the mine he works at in the gibson desert. All precious things

Isn't mothers day in May?
You must not live in the states.
What date is it there and where ru?
Mothers always appreciate simple stuff.
A card, do something like take her out to eat.
I don't think it has to be expensive to be special.

My grandpa was my best friend. He done so much for me all my life.It took me 37 yrs. to think of the best present he's ever had before in his life.I wrote a poem Called Granpa's girl and I had it published.I gave the book to him for Christmas when he was 89 yrs. old.I used to write poetry when I was younger and hadn't done it in yrs.People really love gifts that are from the heart.Something more practical for you're mom would be to take her to a spa, massage parlor ect. something both of you could enjoy together.

We don't know what your mom likes. I got mine some really nice perfume that was not too heavy since I knew what kinds she liked.

Maybe tickets to see a show together, spending some time together. Or take her out to dinner.

I'm a mother of two boys, 20 & 24. A few years ago they bought me a music box. I treasure it.
You need to know that she will treasure anything you get her.
Even cards are a huge deal to us. Especially one that is heartlfelt and signed with love. Mom's know when it is coming from the heart. Your mom will know you love her and what ever you get her, even if it is just time with her, it will be appreciated.
