I want to know how best to get informatiom from the net as quickly as possible?

I have tried to retrieve some information from the net to no avail

Depends on what you're asking.

I've found Google to be the most reliable, but you have to know how to search and use Boolean operators (such as quotation ("") marks, or "+" signs, etc)
