Camping is a nice holiday as long as you don't have issues with a bit of dirt and roughing it.You feel more in tune with the planet when you're camping as opposed to being insulated if you're in a unit or hotel. Leave the make up and beauty stuff at home and just enjoy the outdoors.

Oh god no!! Just the thought of it makes me break out in an itch and that without being near the cold and the dirt and the insect and the wildlife. I like carpet not dirt and stones or grass to step onto in the morning. I like going out for bacon and eggs in the mornings instead of getting up to cook it all myself while others watch on and can't even shoo the flies for me. Camping...shmamping. Park your tent under the stars if you want, just make it a 5 star resort room.

Call me a snob if you like, but I can't think af anything worse. If I go on a holiday, it's to take a break from everything- cooking, cleaning, making the beds etc. I want to sleep in a nice cosy bed in a nice comfy room. I don't want to have to reach my destination and have to assemble my own accomodation. And I sure as hell don't ever want to pee in a bush. Camping just doesn't do it for me.

I LOVE camping! From tent to RV it is fun. It really depends on who you go with though. Make sure to bring things to do if the weather doesn't cooperate. It may not be the 'best way' to spend a holiday.......but it can be a blast! Have fun if you go! :)

i love camping and so does my honey. we don't go on holidays because there are too many idiots trying to camp too. we usually go the weekend after the holiday, when its quiet.

I like it alot. Generates a high percentage of long term memories. I always feel like I'm camping....when I'm on vacation. But actually spending nights out where you can't see anything manmade is like....really bitchin' !
