Whats the best way to go about it? She has done some work experience the last couple of summers but needs different companies. She is based in London in the summer.

The best way is the old fashioned way Im afraid, sending her CV and letter to all the companies she is interested in working for. Perhaps trying to make appointments with the HR departments of some of the bigger firms.

if she is willing to work for free for the experience she should contact as many of the big firms as possible and I can almost guarantee she will get offers. A friend of mine did the same thing a few years back and got offered a job by the company afterwards, as long as he passed his course at a certain level.
