No it's not an urban myth I was talking to a parts supplier yesterday and he said they couldn't keep up with the demand for Lambda Sensors

Yes, mine died on Wednesday - the lights on the dashboard came on and then everything just quietly cut out, not like when you stall it. I had filled up with unleaded at Tesco on Tuesday.

I'm in the South West - it's certainly not a myth. Thouands of people have contacted the RAC, AA, trading standards and our local news with this problem. They've found traces of silicon in petrol samples, I understand.

Diesel is a little greater high priced than petrol interior the united kingdom. Diesel vehicles are somewhat greater high priced petrol vehicles. diesel vehicles haven't any ht leads , no spark plugs , no coil , or digital timing. Diesel vehicles are somewhat greater slugish at pulling away , reving up etc , yet as quickly as going deisels out carry out petrol at say accelerating from 50 mph to 80 mph. Diesel engines will do greater mileage in an entire life that petrol. street tax and emmisions may well be distinctive looking on make of vehicle cc engine etc. ordinarily decide for diesel in case you force greater on motorways , long distance , petrol if greater around city.
