There is quite a big difference in the jersey when you have a closer look. In comparison to the juve jersey newcastle (and notts count for that matter) don't have any stars on theirs. This is due to the fact that nooocastle and nuts cownty have never won Europe's Premier Trophy.

I don't think so but a lot of teams copy kits.
For example the all white kit Leeds United are associated with was Real Madrid's kit that they copied. Also the light blue strip with the darker blue horizontal strip that qwas sponsored by Packard Bell and in which they played in Europe is a copy of Lazio's shirt!

The Three Clubs ( Notts County, Newcastle & Juventus ) are alike but not identical,
Notts County Shirt Has NO stripes on the sleeves
Newcastle have One stripe on the sleeves and
Juventus have got Three Stripes on their sleeves.

I noticed the similarity too. One time I asked someone, "What is Zidane doing in a Newcastle jersey in this picture?" Then I realized he was in a Juventus jersey.

Juventus based their kit on Notts County. Being pedantic here but they are White and Black - Newcastle are black and white.

newcastle got idea of kit from juventus who got it from notts county. but newcastle took notts county's nickname (magpies).
the reason juventus have got that kit is notts county went on tour to italy and juventus didn't have their own kit at the time so notts left the kit for them.

They have same colour but are not really the same.

But in the same time they can not play against each other wearing them as it would make a confusion.

Thanx!
