Now days you have to get in a registered gas fitter to do any work on your gas cooker, even when you buy a new one they do not sell the lead with it as it has to be done properly.
I only found out when i moved in to my new home, even though my husband was corgi registered years ago, as his certificates had run out he could not do it, other wise he could of got fined.

Hello, i think it's only bottled gas that has left hand threads.your cooker should be fitted with a bayonet connection, rubber hose with brass bayonet one end and a thread on the other, look carefully at the threaded end you should be able to work out what hand it is by the way the start of the thread is ,if it points to the right it is r/hand ,to left l/hand. put ptfe tape on the thread before you do up.check with neat washing up liquid for leaks.Your lold cooker may not have a bayonet .you can get one from a plummers shop.

If there's a gas component on the draw back of the cooker then the expenditures reported are notably lots spot on. If there's no longer any gas grant on the factor of the cooker and a grant must be run then the cost will type looking on what's in touch.

Get a corgi plumer. You need to have it checked by a gas filler anyway. I think its the law now.
