I've been watching the View a bit ever since the whole Donald Trump/Rosie thing. Anyway, after watching it for awhile I notice that Joy Behar is probably the funniest one of all. Rosie is the 2nd funniest, and basically Barbara Walters and Joy are not the funniest. However, I do notice that Rosie, Joy, and even sometimes Barbara don't treat Elisabeth with too much respect. Personally, I think Elisabeth has a very annoying voice, isn't funny, and I also don't like some of her views. However, on yesterday's show where Rosie says "Calling you young so you don't understand is my way of controlling the rage over your ignorant comments". I was like wow! Joy even accused Elisabeth of name-calling when Elisabeth was only describing people. Rosie and Joy rarely give Elisabeth a chance to say anything and well it's more of an observation on my part more than a complaint because I can't stand Elisabeth's voice anyway. I'm just wondering why these 3 ladies don't really respect Elisabeth.

I do agree that they walk all over Elisabeth. The point of the view is to have all different "views" and although I don't agree with all of Elisabeths opinions isn't that why she is there? The young republican.
I love the View I watch it everyday and think that Rosie has been a great addition and I guess its supposed to be entertaining hearing just how Joy and Rosie feel about things!

I normally do not watch "The View," but I was flipping channels while "The Price Is Right" was on commercial break. I happened to see the part where Rosie & Joy were once again attacking Elizabeth on her opinions and age....while the audience member/guest host had to sit right up there and watch. I think it is terrible that they set such a poor example.
I thought the original concept of the show was to showcase very different women and intelligently discuss topics. Isn't that one of the reasons they dumped Debbie Matenopoulos?
All those two ever do is belittle and brow-beat Elizabeth. I'm not saying they have to agree with her politics or opinions. Do not go on a national tv show, where everyone's opinion is supposed to be respected, maybe just not agreed with, and step all over someone and insult her because she is a few years younger than you.
This is the same thing all the time. Maury Povich is the same (paternity tests) all the time. This is why I do not watch these shows. They find one gimmick and THINK it works because of controversy. AND, By the way, I do not like Donald Trump and I do not agree with his decision on the pageant winner...which started that whole ridiculous "feud," but I thought airing all of that on tv and going on and on was just as dumb as the two participants in the "feud."

the whole show is SUPPOSE to be sharing and comparing different views. it turns out that it is 3 against 1. rosie is only 15 years older than elisabeth, so that whole bit about being in a nursing home sounded stupid.
elisabeth isn't 18 years old give the girl some respect.

Yes, I think they definitely walk all over Elisabeth. I used to watch it all the time and its been going on pretty much since she got on the show. I really like Elisabeth and support her more conservative views. I think she has good morals and that she is right in standing up for what she believes regardless of what all the liberals on the show have to say. Its hard because its like 3 against one plus she is the youngest.

I honestly don't see how Elizabeth puts up with it every day. I like Elizabeth myself and I think she has a right to her opinions and beliefs. You may not agree with them, but I think you'd have to agree that she in entitled to them nonetheless. You know, there has been more controversary since Rosie joined the show than there ever was when Star Jones was a part of it! Was that was The View was hoping for when they hired Rosie? I don't think so.
The sooner Rosie leaves, the better as far as I'm concerned.

i can't even count the number of young women they've gone through on that show. The original concept was to have all age groups represented. Since Rosie came on the show has gotten very hostile which is contagious.

It seems like it has more to do with her age than anything else. I will say that even though she is a year older than me - it doesn't seem like she is very worldly wise. In other words, she is much more booksmart than street smart.
I think it's her conservative-like views that get her into more trouble.

Rosie's a Bull Dyke and steps all over anyone that's afraid of her just like any other bully. She's a very sad individual has to make fun of others because of her own insecurities. How she can be a celebrity is just one of those mysteries that will never be solved.
