How long have you known her. If it's a long time then get her a big photo phrame with loadsa separate photo slots. Then put pictures of things and people you know are important to her. I did this for my best friend and she was so touched she started crying!! Also give her something small you know she really wants. (A necklace or whatever).
(I assumed that your best friends not a guy but if he is then maybe this isn't the best idea).

well, actually, I forgot to ask, is it a guy or a girl?? and, pretty much, if they are your best friend, you really should know what they would like. do they collect anything??
I personally collect comic books, and music boxes, and I love blankets...
so, just think of hte things they like to surround themselves with
