old saying "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it". we are supposed to learn from the past, to understand how and why things are the way they are today because of actions in the past. cause and effect

Two reasons........
To learn from the mistakes been made in the past.
In order to understand how we arrived at where we are today.
Everything we know now has happened in history. It is a huge wide subject with a vast amount you can learn from.
If you are at school, it may seem boring, but pick the parts that interest you and research into them more deeply. It will be fascinating.

We should study the History as a story
we oursalves should involve in the things in the story
as if there is a scene like "War Of The So & So" we should imagine that it is happening in front of us.....
Einstein says "It is not how claver we r but the thing that how we imagine something that is not ever been seen!"

So that we are aware as to what had happened in the past. And you never know, when we might just face the same situations & just be able to handle it in a better way since we know our history.
