Why does the media not report black on white crime?

Question

Last month, a young Tennessee couple was abducted by three black men. They were held for days, tortured, raped and finally murdered.
Channon Christian was forced to watch as her boyfriend, Chris Newsom, was gang raped, beaten, had his penis hacked off and then set on fire.
She was then gang raped, sodomized, tortured - her breasts cut off - and finally had a household cleaning product forced down her throat.
Not a peep from the media.
Remember James Byrd? Sure you do - he was the black man that was dragged to death behind that pickup truck in Texas. That was front page news, every TV station picked it up and the New Black Panthers made a point of denouncing the entire white race over the incident. It was a major news event.
Why not this? This is a far more heinous event, but guaranteed, if not for this question, none of you would know about this.

Something like this would cause a race riot of grand proportions and the ranks of the KKK would swell again, even as they did everytime a black was in the paper for killing a white or vice versa.

Black crime is suppressed for a number of reasons. If America really knew the extent of black crime, the love affair for blacks would end real quick.
Whites don't have a Je$$e Jack$on or Al $harpton to play the race card. If the races were reversed it would be on 20/20, Dateline, and 60 minutes for months.

This is a horrible crime.If the public do not stand up and force the Police, Newspapers and talk shows on the Radio to see that these people are never out of prison. Does your state have the death penalty? People in your area need to call radio talk shows, during 6:00A.M.- 9:00P.M. and again at
4:00P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and pressure your local police dept. and certainly all of the Newspapers in that are. My folks live in Tennessee, and this does not appease me.

Sadly, there is equality and there is more than equal. It is similar to the news reports that don't give the race of the wanted person. Why bother asking for the publics help if you restrict using the most prominent feature of the perp. I suppose the news sources don't want to offend anyone, but I wonder if it's better to have the criminal go free?

it is going returned to the old jim crow regulations from the pre civil conflict era. in case you had as low as a million/8 African blood then you have been black. meaning you will have some fairly easy people who have been pointed out as black, that's additionally why people who could desire to could flow faraway from their homestead to places the place they weren't widespread so as that they could stay as white.

I cant help but feel you are a racist. Yes that crime should have gotten national attention.
There are other crimes committed by people every day that are worse than that, but they never received any type of attention either.
Its not racism ( I HOPE ) maybe all the news people were busy those days.

If it was not in the media how did you find out about it?
It is always a tragedy when white on black crime ends in death
or black on white crime ends in death. Maybe it happens so much it can not all be reported when you want it to.

Well you are right about one thing, I never heard the first thing about this hideous crime.I just pray that they kept it under wrap because they wanted the criminals to be unaware of how close they were on their trail.Are they close to a arrest?With all the info you have someone knows something.To think we are among killers and not aware, what's the world coming to?Call Montel and see what he says....
