we have enemies all over the Arab and Muslim nations, some Asian nations are not too fond of us, France doesn't like us, even a couple of Latin American nations are talking bad about the U.S., the immigration problem isn't helping our relations with Mexico, and we make fun of Canadians all the time... what is happening to our country?

To be unfortunatly blunt, Americans have two things against them which cause us to be unliked globally. One, we have an incredible excess of money and freedoms, which makes us an easy target for people to dislike. Two, we are of the belief that everyone in the world should learn english and that everything should be done the way we do it. Case in point, 95% of the Japanese speak English. The only American born people that I know who speak Japanese, live in Japan.

No we are NOT purposely making more enemies. This has NEVER been the American way! The Asians probably don't like our challenging them re; their bomb making, the French don't like anybody and the Mexicans don't like our challenging their illegal immigration. ergo, what's a nation to do?

It sure seems that way. Good new article by Seymour Hirsch "Is the Administration’s new policy benefitting our enemies".
