every time you answer a question you get 2 points....every time you vote you get 1 point and every day you get into Y!A you get 1 points (assunming you don't ever get picked for best answer)
so that's 4 points a day
you need 25000 points to get to level 7
so that will take about 25000/4 = 6250 days or 17 years and 41 days

Smutty is absolutely right I didn't count those 100 points they give for free
and we can know the number of years cuz we divide by 365.25 so that every 4 years we get one whole day off.
so 6225/365.25 = 17 years and 16 hours

Ok, I am too nerdy to let this question pass easily.
You have not supplied us with enough given. We still need to know what percentage of your answers get picked as best
For now thats what's missing but I will have to read the scoring system board again.

Kate did not count the 100 points they give you for free when you start. Life, nobody starts from zero lol, they start from 100. The question DOESNT make sense! I never liked it from the first look.
(25000 - 100) / 4 = 6225 days. We cannot convert this value to exact years because we do not know for sure if we are starting at a leap year or when the next leap year starts. Hence we still are missing some given LIFE!!
