Not finding out when im ovualting means ive never bothered with charting etc ..just had sex naturally when we both feel like it.

I do work away from home 7-12 nights a month also so this has also been a reason for me to buy one so we have more of a chance.

Your 10 months trying could very much be due to having sex at the wrong time, when you are not ovulating. Since you said everything seems normal you need to give it about a year trying when you are ovulating before worrying. The monitor will be excellent at helping you pinpoint when also charting particulary checking for your eggwhite Cervical Mucus really does help, as you can start to see a pattern forming if you are regular.

I currently use an fertility monitor and It helps to pinpoint exactly when to have babymaking sex. I have a regular cycle and while I chart as well as assess my Cervical Mucus the monitor assess my hormone levels so it adds another dimension to my charting to see if all the signs fit together. It is abit like putting a puzzle together but I have been using it for 3 months now and altogether they have worked really well. I am not pregnant yet due to my partner working shifts it has been quite difficult but I know exactly when to try which helps alot.

I used the clearblue easy fertility monitor and got pregnant 3 months later (after quitting the pill---I had been using it for 18 years). 11 months later I got pregnant again, but this time during the first month. Sadly though, the second pregnancy ended at 10 weeks. I'm 38 years old. You're young and healthy, and shouldn't have these issues. It's important though, that you DO make love when you're ovulating. It's going to be a challenge for you if you're out of town. Can you switch your schedule around somewhat?

i used a simple kit from boots that was just a thermometer and graph. there was instructions on how to work out when the best 2 days of the month were. my husband works abroad an is only home for 2 months out of 5 so we only had 4 days in every 5 months to concieve! I had a practice run for a month when he was a away to get used to how to read the chart properly, and we fell pregnant on the second month of trying when he was home. I would definitely recommend trying this out. I will definitely use it again next time. best of luck - children are such a gift.
