I was only 4 weeks pregnant when my doctor had me get my first sonogram. If you are looking for when you can find out the sex of the baby, you will have to wait until 16 weeks at least and then it still may be hard for them to tell. I didn't find out the sex of my baby until I was 23 weeks because she wouldnt allow anyone to see. (It's a girl thing! LOL). Good Luck with your bundle of joy!.

Waiting to see mine due in 2 weeks:)

I had a sonogram at 7 weeks. It was an internal sonogram though. Im sure it could be given earlier but usually it is only given that early for medical reasons.

I had one at two weeks gestation to prove I was actually pregnant. My Dr didnt believe that I knew the exact time/day I concieved and after doing a pregnancy test (urine) which was positive, she waited a week and sent me for an ultrasound. And yes I was pregnant.

after 3 months if you are having complications they might do it sooner. Some people don't have them at all. I get my 1st one this months and I will be 5 months.
