Seriously, if you completely understood the universe, if you could see the strains of music rippling through the cosmos, if you were at one with the vastness of space and God and in completely harmony with your own soul,
BUT...
you also recognised a fundamental flaw in the design of everything, a mistake so enormous you can NOT understand how it was allowed to happen, a paradox that was in no uncertain terms destorying the true path of existence,
AND...
you had stumbled across a way to fix this problem, a solution that would almost certainly result in the absolute destruction of humankind, would you be able to go through with it or would you just go through life angry and depressed?

i would say that i would give people a chance by guiding them in the right direction, maybe see if i could make the flaw a good thing because if i was god and the flaw was that bad i couldnt kill my own creations because of my mistake, id try to make it better!
