I think he is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the NBA! The Jazz go with Boozer as their big star, but every year Okur is getting better and better and I think could go to bigger and better things if he keeps working hard.
Okur for a big man can shoot the three, free throw and from the field pretty well and he is not bad defensively either. He also carried the team when the Jazz lost Boozer, so please give him credit where it is due.

As a Jazz fan I raised an eyebrow at first on our decision to sign a backup from Detroit to a 52 million contract. But now that time has past I can't really argue with the results. Okur is defiantly the best center the Jazz have had since Mark Eaton (I'm not a big Ostertag fan). If he continues to play the way he is, I think Okur will have a great NBA career and the Jazz will continue to be a contender in the West.

has made lots of clutch 3's during the first half of the season. needs to do more of those come playoff time to be mentioned with the likes of Robert Horry.

First him, then Darko Milicic...who knew Detroit's biggest mistakes would be 'trade away the Europeans with the bad dyejobs'?

He looks kind of silly with that unkempt goatee, but he's turned into quite a good player. A late bloomer, I suppose.
