I am 33 years old and my girlfriend is 30 years old. Her feelings for me is very deep. She loves me so much. She wants me to marry her and I know it. She's been holding my hand and leading me to engagement rings. I caught her looking at a bridal magazine. We have been together for 8 years. I like her as a friend and not more than a friend. I've been keeping her only for sex. We started to have sex 2 years ago. I was about to dump her 2 years and a week ago since we didn't started having sex yet. I'm thankful that she wanted to have sex with me after that 1 week passed. I starting tell her "I love you" 7 years ago. I am always loyal and faithful to her. I am only using her for sex. I will not break up with her nor ever leave her until her death or my death. Instead of paying a hoe money, I can get sex with my girlfriend this way. That is why I am going to keep her until one of us dies. When I am 65 years old, I can have sex with my to-be-wife instead of paying money to have sex with whores and get STD's. Good plan. eh? No, I am not in love with her. I will not let myself fall in love with her. If I do fall in love with her and she dies, I will be ever so depressed. we haven't married yet. I plan to marry her. Ok, very funny guy. If any of this is true, then if you do indeed feel the need to stay with this woman until she dies you might as well marry her. I totally understand why you would not want to get married. Traditional marriage in modern society has become skewed and distorted. You need to be honest with her and at least let her know that marriage is something that you are not intrested in right now. Do not tell her never becuase that will really close the door and could lead to her leaving you. From what you describe she really sounds like she cares about you so maybe you can keep up the facade and let her think you love her, just do not make any promises on marriage. The reality is that a lot of women want to feel stable with one man, and a part of that is getting married and wearing a ring to show it. I'm not going to lie and say your doing a terrible thing, becuase in some way you make this girl happy and give her a reason to stay with you. Good luck with whatever you choose, if this is a real question.

You do love her. So the whole little routine of you thinking that you are just using her for sex.....get over it and stop lying to yourself.
Everybody in their own time decides to get married. That time may never come for you. She needs to understand that. Let her know that you've noticed but that you just don't want that right now, that you are happy with the way things are.

This is very strange to me. You don;t love her or even like her really but you've spent 8 yrs of your life with her just to have sex? Man, that makes absolutely no sense to me. Why not find your true love and then get married? It's not really fair to her to believe that she is the love of your life when you actually are very numb towards her. If you think it will work for you, I guess go for it. But it sounds like a sad way to spend your life.

Your the type of guy that give the rest of us a bad rap. You say it is jsut for the sex, well for your partners sake I hope that is the first thing that goes when you get older. It's the least you deserve for using someone like that. Would serve you right if she gave you a STD.
