THE BEST THING IS TO HAVE TWO PAIRS OF GLASSES THAT YOU CAN ALTERNATE. THEY WILL PROVIDE RELIEF JUST BY THE CHANGE. ITS LIKE IF YOU WEAR ONE PAIR OF SHOES ALL THE TIME, THEY'LL START TO HURT YOU SOMEWHERE...BUT WHEN YOU ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING THEM THERE IS NO OPPORTUNITY FOR THEM TO START BOTHERING YOU. I HAVE ONE METAL PAIR OF GLASSES WITH LITTLE NOSE PADS....THEY LEAVE MARKS ON THE SIDES OF MY NOSE....AND THE OTHER PAIR ARE PLASTIC FRAMES WHICH LEAVE A MARK ON THE TOP OF MY NOSE. BECAUSE I ALTERNATE THEM THERE IS NO PERMAMENT MARK...WHATEVER IS THERE DISAPPEARS WITHIN MINUTES. IF YOU WEAR THE SAME PAIR DAY IN DAY OUT FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS THEY WILL LEAVE DENTS ON YOUR FACE.

I would bet that the marks would go away in couple of days once you get contact lenses. If you're female, you could always put on a bit of makeup to help even out your coloring.

I think they will fade in time if you stop wearing glasses completely.
You should be able to blend them in with foundation in the meantime.
Hope that helps - I have those marks too.
