Actually, it's a matter of personal opinion.
Initially, first cousins were a little too close to being brother and sister in the family tree, but the Supreme Court of the U.S. has ruled on it and decided that it is not as taboo anymore. As such, many states now allow first cousins to marry. Some have restrictions out of concern for children that the couple may wish to have.
"According to the recent report, children of unrelated parents have a 3 percent to 4 percent chance of being born with a serious birth defect. Children of first cousins have only a slighter higher risk--roughly a 4 percent to 7 percent chance." See link below!

Because society has set up laws regarding incest. Because all societies have some form of incest taboos. That is the reason, society sets the norms and ours say that marrying cousins in some states is illegal, however there a few in which the marriage between first cousins is OK, most say second cousin and up is OK. It is Not wrong. but society doesn't like these types of relationships. This used to be a common practice years ago but in many countries this is considered taboo, (not incest, this is different). I say that people should do whatever they need to do to be happy. If more than 20% of the world's population has married their cousin, why can't you? Cheers!

Because they are part of the same genes pool and their offspring usually might become deformed, both mentally and physically. Sometimes I wonder though if it is only things we know about which affects us. Do you have any idea how many brothers and sisters are married to each other and don't know. If you doubt me just watch the Maury Povich Show, where women who swear a million percent that a certain man has fathered her child, end up telling a lie. So consider if this is really the neighbor's child and neighbors end up marrying each other, then...BINGO. Know I've rambled, but I couldn't help getting that off.

it depends on if they are first cousins, or several marriages between them have separated them.
we are are all brothers and sisters, and many of us are related by some marriage within the last 500 years.
but it is not a sin if you have the same family of brothers and sisters who are the parents and inlaws.

It's not wrong. Jeez. It's no longer taboo for a man to stick his giant wood in another mans sphincter, ripping the mucous membrane that is ment to protect the bloodstream from bacteria in feces; but for cousins to love each other in healthy, non-violent relationships is over the top?
Cousins is fine. ANyone who says different probably had a cute cousin who didn't like them.
And there's nothing in the bible to forbid cousins. Ask for a chapter and verse. People can't give you one, and if they do, look it up yourself. YOu'll see.
My cousin is hot. If I had the chance, I'd treat her like a summertime popsicle followed by the most degrading slamming she's ever taken. It would be all about me and my pleasure bursting like a warm beer shaken in the bottle all over every whitch way she can. Yeah!!!
Then I'd do it again.

Oh Lord have mercy!
It's wrong because your DNA is so closely related and you could damage any kind of children you might have.
It's also wrong according to many many religions.
And society frowns upon it because it's FAMILY. You should never ever have romantic relations with family members, even if they're step-family members. It's morally wrong Don't do it unless you're dead set getting on Ricki Lake.

if it incredibly is okay via ur faith than why so hectic? in ur cultures eyes u are doing no incorrect. u appear like a gorgeous guy. some human beings are actually not fortunate adequate to locate that distinctive somebody in existence yet u have. decide for it and be chuffed!

If you wont listen to moral objections, then at least understand the genetically its risky business. Higher rate of birth defects and mental retardation. And besides its just plain icky!

I used to think my cousin was hot, but just don't do it, it can cause birth defects and family problems. Not worth it unless you move to another country together
