Obviously not!
It neither obliterated Canary Wharf nor did it help their supposed cause in any way whatsoever. In fact, on the contrary, it made most people here and in America realise that the IRA was just a bunch of thugs packing a heavy punch, most of which had been supplied by America through crass donations by strange people in the so-called 'Irish' community. Tragic.

It depends on what you think the goal of the bombing campaign was. Did they succeed in getting a reunited Ireland or getting the British out of Ireland? No. But did they succeed in changing the nature of the violence from being contained to the 6 counties and thus barely worth the notice of the British at home to being a thorny issue for Britain in general? Yes.
I would call it a very much mixed bag.

Canary Wharf is a complicated of place of work homes equipped on the positioning of the former London Docks. that's rarely what one might call a vacationer section, except you're a lover of modern shape or a practice-spotter. there is not something specific "to do" there, be it summer season or winter!

No, it achived nothing, the peace process onlystarted because of 9/11, and the Americans who were funding the RA realised exactly what they were funding.

Hello,
(ANS) No! definately NOT, it only confirmed how ruthless & heartless the IRA was and that it had no quarms about murdering totally innocent people inorder to try and achieve its aims. It did no favours in bring peace to northern ireland in the long term.
