Because any two points if connected by a negligibaly small resistance conductor, will be at the same potential.

Because the voltage across every element of a parallel circuit is the same. That's the *definition* of a parallel circuit. If the voltage across them were different, it couldn't be a parallel circuit.

since the potential across each component is same if they are connected in parallel. in this case the current across it varies according to its resistance (Xc=1/wC), moreover
