For once the Dudley Council listened to the local people,sure makes a change,this is the council that said schools would be shut 24 hours before it snowed.
If you live in the West Midlands you know there are plenty of Mosques and the Muslims are well catered for.Recently Wolverhampton introduced Muslim only swimming sessions but there are no Christian only swimming sessions.

If I were a racist, which I'm not, and wanted to see the demise of minority cultures in the U.K, I would be very happy about the current situation where the muslim community calls the council racist over this, I would have also been very happy about the ruckus over the recent Big brother incident and the accusations of racism there, especially when the pictures of indians burning effergys of the show producers in the street over the use of the word poppadom. If I were a racist agitator, I would sit back, do nothing, and let these minority cultures hang themselfs which is exactly what they are doing with this behavour.

Good on you Dudley council, you are not like the rest of the spineless councils in the UK, you come to a proper decision and you stick by it. You have the backing of the majority in Dudley and also the country.

I am getting sick of the Muslims thinking they can turn Britain into a State within a State. I can't go to an Islamic country and demand I build a Christian church there so why are they so upset when we say no.
This cry of racist is being used in all events when clearly it is not the case, this is Britain, a Christian nation, if they are not happy with that then they have no right being here and should go back to an Islamic country.

good on the council! they got it right for a change!this word'racism' is being bandied around so much nowadays by anyone who wants to get their own way,it is starting to lose its impact. if the male Muslims lowered their standards and let the 'dirty'women worship next to them,they might make do with one prayer hall. the worm IS (slowly ) turning!!

The Muslim Council of Great Britain is like any other self-serving committee. They're only in it for themselves (pardon the tautology) and they achieve their so-called legitimacy by trying to stir up friction between Muslim supporters and the rest of us, so that they can present themselves as defenders of Muslim values. We shouldn't rise to their provocations, we should laugh at them and their pretensions, and then laugh at the prigs who worry about offending Muslims. Reading some of the answers here, I seem to see ignorance and bigotry on both sides.
