There are several things you need to think of besides the time you have sent in your current employment.
The first thing is to have a dream of what you want to achieve in Life.
Can you current Job take you there? If no then start preparing to get one that can.
But make sure you have enough savings that can last you for at least 3months while you set sail for your new adventure.
If you are leaving to start your own firm, then it’s time to start looking for customers.
But the most important thing is leaving with dignity.

you should first ask yourself if there is something that you can change since you have sometime invested. talk to you boss and be totally honest in what is bothering you, sometimes you'd be surprised what the accomplishes, but if that doesn't work there are lots of other opportunities just around the corner to choose from. just make sure that you have something lined up because it sucks to not have the money coming in, because you know the bills don't stop and you don't need that extra stress in you life. hang in there it will get better and whatever happens, should.

Yes if you are unhappy. Dont leave until you find another one so that you are not desperate to take another job that you may not be happy with.
