Congratulations on being the winner of today's most inane question. Thought I'd seen them all, but yours beats everything ! If you already know the answer, you don't have a question

This is not such a bad idea. Scoring issues can be easily resolved by the software - so no points for answering your own question, you can't rank your own answer etc.
But fundamental issue is if you know the answer already then why ask the question in the first place? I can only imagine a case where you first did not know the answer, then later on you came to know the answer and you wish to share the answer with everyone. Not a bad idea at all.
Right now I think you can do it indirectly by adding comments while closing an open question.

What would be the point of asking a question you already know the answer too? But, you can't answer your own question because that would be considered point-gaming and you would just always probably vote your own answer as the best, an easy 10 points.

Eh, you can state an opinion when you ask a question on Yahoo! answers but when you ask a question, you usually wouldn't know the answer.

Yahoo reasons that if you could answer your own question wouldn't need to ask it

That will not be a good idea. Anyways if you ask, that means that you are unable to answer it, and that is why you ask here so that we smart people could give you some answers.

If you could, you can pick your answer to be the best and get 10 points. That wouldn't be very good..

Simple don't ask the question in the first place. This question is pointless.
