Answer: yes I believe that the Dragons had assistance Wizards were knows to be consorts of Dragons and in many tales Vampires and Dragons lived in the same lands also Celtics were know to help Dragons.
Reason: They helped the Dragons because all mythical creatures must aid in their defense. Dragons are fire and since before time man has quested after fire.
