Ant bait is for use outdoors. What happens if you use it indoors?

What brand is the best? Is Amdro a good brand?

Amdro is fine to use but if the ants are seriously small you should crush it a bit. Don't put it directly into the hole, they'll just move it out. Surround the hole with it & then they'll take the bait. Don't let your dog get at it either, they love to eat it & it will kill them. There's a gel bait that works well indoors, I think it's called Drax, but it may be hard to get.

I had great results with Amdro to get rid of fire ants when I lived in Texas. I used it in my own yard, and professionally as an exterminator. You can use it indoors, just be careful where you put it. It is poison. Put it in something small like bottle caps, and set them where you're seeing the ants. Ants won't always take baits. Their diets vary between sweets and proteins. If they won't take 1 bait, try a different brand.
