I am a 30 yr old mum and whilst doing my shopping the other day in Tesco I saw a film that took me back to my younger days!

The film 'The dark crystal' .......I have not seen this film for many years and immediately bought it although my kid wasn't too impressed! lol ( not as appealing as the ones shes used to I suppose! )

Well my question is what movies do you remember watching as a kid?

BIG with Tom Hanks was one of my favourites, also we found out my old Moonwalker video I got for my 12th birthday and my stepdaughter now loves it. (I'm nearly 30).

Same can't be said however for the Button Moon dvd I bought in a fit of nostalgia for my nearly 2 year old to see. She took one look at it and wasn't impressed at all! She looked at me as if she was saying "mum, it's a wooden spoon and a baked beans can".

Aahhh... the good old days!

I am 25. My ultimate fav films were the labyrinth and return to Oz and all of the never ending story films!! wow what memories. Now i am all grown up I have bought them all on DVD. I have to say although I love watching them, I am a little cautious of ruining the memory!! But the old films really are the best!!! :0)

Old Yeller was the first movie I ever saw at a Drive-in theater. I use to go down town to the theater and DROOL over Elvis!! Jail House Rock and Love Me Tender. Then there were the Sandra Dee movies, Frankie Avalon, On the Waterfront with Marlon Brando was the movie I went to on the first date with the boy I ended up marrying. It's to bad they make so few just clean, non-violent, fun movies these days. (I remember Zulu too.)

The Dark Crystal with Jen and Kira was a favourite of mine, along with Labyrinth.
I remember when I was really little and watching Lassie Come Home and breaking my heart, with tears dripping down my face, but still loved the film.
