My husband wants to go home to our home country with our son. I told him to leave my son with me but he refused. He said we were here in another country (for one year) but nothing still happens to us. Failure to get a permanent job is one. He had four previous jobs here but always complains that he is not contented or happy with the job. In our home country, that is his problem. He was out of work for more than 15 years. The reason why we migrated here is for our children’s future. There is no future in our home country because of too much politics and corruption. Now, I am afraid because he told me he is already fed up and wants to go home with our son. He also told me that he will not allow our other child, who is still in our home country, to go here. He told me to find a job and if I can provide for our children’s future then that is the time he will allow the children to go back. I fear that we are heading for a separation in the near future. What are your advices?

I see the American Female values have made you think! Good for WHO?

And, lady, there is no guaranteed future here. Have you Googled the term "Concentration Camps" lately?

If I were you and had a place to go, I'd pack up and get the hell out of here.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. I don't know where you are from but I suggest you go to see an attorney. Wherever you are you can call the local courthouse and they should tell you about where to find legal aid in your area. You need to discuss this with an attorney. I really doubt your husband can just march off with your child, in this country that stuff just doesn't fly.

Let him go if he's so convinced he'll be better off back in your homeland however holw old is your son? Under a certain age, if he takes your son without your consent, is considered kidnapping

You should get your own job so you aren't dependent on this lazy loser. Once you break the financial dependence he presently holds you under, you will then be much more able to make the best decision. Good luck!
